69th Department of Ohio State Convention

Welcome Marines to the 69th Annual Department of Ohio state Convention. We are pleased to announce that this years event will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Cleveland South.

The Gung Ho Detachment #650 is pleased to announce that we will be helping coordinate this years event with the Marine Corps League Department of Ohio. Gung Ho Detachment #650 is directly affiliated with the Marines of 4th Division 3rd Battalion 25th Marines. Our mission as the mission of the Marine Corps League is to help our fellow Marines in any way possible.

Special Events:

The Gung Ho Detachment will be hosting a "Welcome Social" on Thursday, June 12th and Friday, June 13th. The price for this social event will be $5.00 per ticket pre-registration or $6.00 per ticket at the door. This is a great way to meet both new and old friends. If you would like to attend this event please download the "Reservation Form.pdf" to fill out and send in by June 1, 2008.

On Friday, June 13th there will be "Commandant's/Past President's Dinner". This dinner social will run from 1600 till 1900. The cost for this event will be $24.00 per ticket. If you would like to attend this event please download the "Reservation Form.pdf" to fill out and send in by June 1, 2008.

There will be a "Convention Banquet" scheduled on Saturday, June 14th. This dinner will run from 1600 till 2200. The cost for this event will be $28.00 per ticket. If you would like to attend this event please download the "Reservation Form.pdf" to fill out and send in by June 1, 2008.


M-1 Garand Raffle:

Gung Ho Detachment #650 Marine Corps League in direct support of the Marines of 3/25 will be raffling off an "M-1 Garand Rifle (Valued at $1,000.00) along with Helmet, Bandolier, Canteen, Bayonet, .45 Holster, and First Aid Kit" donated to our detachment in hopes we could raise funds to continue our support of these Marines of 3/25.
